Yeah, I was getting SES with the VRSF one almost immediately. Sounds like the unit they are selling is faulty.

a74 fix arrived yesterday and I was able to rewire my pigtails to it. Going to give it a try some time later this week. (Fingers crossed this time around)

Everyone who is having problems with the VRSF fix, are you using these specific positaps? https://goo.gl/HDhpcY

A few people have mentioned that they got an SES using different positaps and it cleared as soon as they switched to the ones from the link above.

How do you have this wired? The connector with the colored wires were not suppose to be touched. You were only suppose to connect the fix to the connector wires with the grey black and white.

I followed that DIY word for word. Instead of chopping up my o2 sensor wires I just connected the fix between these two pigtails. In theory it's the same exact thing as hooking it up how you mention. (the wires in my car remain untouched) I'll attach the back side so you can see, I'll be updating this thread later this week with my results.

a74 fix was a success! Just went out for a full drive cycle and I have all monitors complete besides EVAP. Best part is no codes and no SES!

Replied to your PM. Was able to pick up a rear o2 sensor and engine harness together at a local breaker. For me it was worth it to leave my cars wiring alone and be able to plug in and out whenever necessary. (every 2 years)
