EXXX 335i increasing in numbers!

When I bought my car last year I hardly saw 335s on the road, maybe 1 a week to two weeks. seeing heaps now like 1 every few days. seems there getting a lot more popular in the second hand market.

Today I have seen three

anyone else noticing this?

I am not surprised you see a few, Sydney is the BMW capital of Australia

South east Melb. I might just be going nuts.

1. When you own it, you notice it more

2. Technically speaking E9X production will reach a 'peak' and then as cars are eventually written off numbers will decline...

3. Depends on the areas you frequent as well... if you're in a wealthier suburb, you're likely to see more during the early stages of the car's life... if you're in a not so wealthy suburb, you're likely to see more later on in the car's life.

I see them infrequently here in Canberra, especially E92s, even after buying one myself a few weeks back. I had to travel to Sydney to get mine too!

Plus 1, for what stu said.

I see the same 335's almost daily and lately a few new models (they look a bit big and lumbery IMHO)

I also see a lot or 1 series up the shops outside the hair dressers :

+1. Ever since I bought my 135i, it seems like everybody in Sydney drives a BMW. And that shift happened in a matter of days.

I should mention that I didn't have a car for a few years, so I never noticed what was on the street. But now I'm moving back home to the US and bought a car there... and then came back to Sydney for a couple of months to finish some things up, and BMWs are suddenly everywhere. And that's despite the fact that I'm in West Sydney now, and I was usually on the North Shore and CBD last year.

hmmm I spotted a 599 GTO on Chapel St last time I was in melb. I assume that guy won't be seeing too many other GTOs around.
