Wire to tap for aftermarket LED DRL
Hey all!
Im looking to add a couple of LED DRL's to my 08 E92. I searched and searched but couldnt find a DIY or a solid idea of an ACC wire to splice for this. Ive read a few connects that say they spliced the anger eye power wire without issue (I also plan to have the angel eyes coded to increase the light output to the halos later on if that is relevant). Im needing to power 2 LED strips that are 12V, Watt: 25W plz forgive the noob question, I am not much of a DIY kinda guy and its been 15 years since my highschool electronics class lol thanks! Jeff |

Seriously, since Audi came out with their Christmas tree headlight LEDs, every car owner and their dog are running some sort of it.
Why do you want your BMW look like an Audi or horrible looking Ford with all aftermarket LED light strips? Sorry for the rant. It's your car, everyone is entitled to do whatever the hell they want. |

lol umm because my 2008 looks like a 2008! Im not interested in opening up the headlights and doing a hugely extensive mod replacing the halos with LEDs, so this to me is an easy, easily reversable mod to update the look a bit.
Anyone with ideas? I was thinking of taping the power supply to the Halos, as I have LED bulbs which draw less.....? |
