Post FS: Brand New Space Gray Vorsteiner E92 Coupe Carbon Fiber Power Dome Sculpted Hood

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
SOLD

This is a brand new Vorsteiner E92 Coupe Carbon Fiber Power Dome Sculpted Hood and is in mint condition (chip and scratch free) painted both top/bottom Space Gray. Comes with BMW emblem, OEM BMW manufacturing stickers on the underside and also comes with M3 hood lifters.

My car was in an accident and I had to get a new hood. I bought this hood new and had it painted only to find out I cannot CPO my car with it at lease end since it's not OEM. I was forced to get an OEM hood and need to sell this.

$1,100.00 firm plus cost of shipping w/insurance via UPS or local pickup in the Chicago land area.

Just in case, I would be willing to swap if at all possible. I realize you said you had an OEM hood, but figure its worth a shot.

I've relisted this hood because it didn't meet the reserve in the last auction. You can "Buy it now!" for $800. I'm taking a major loss on this. Hood retail is $1,150.00 + $200 in shipping and to get it painted with stickers was another $550.

You're getting a hood that cost me $1,900.00 for well under half the price. I'm not taking any more off the price so don't bother asking. I'm past the point of no return. If it doesn't sell I'll use it as a coffee table, LOL.

Honestly I don't. It's not listed on the Vorsteiner website and I can't find it anywhere let alone the weight to the original hood. All I can say is it's lighter for sure. You could call up vendors that carry this hood like jlevi etc. and see if they know.

how come there are no stupid vents? i LOVE this hood. the regular vorsteiners have those ricey vents on the side, but this is absolutely clean, understated and beautiful. free bump.

Vents help with the cooling as when you speed up the aerodynamics suck the Heath out and a cooler engine give you more performance. WhAts not cool are fake vents but not the ones that actualy help you. You guys from California should know this.
