This is great, I've been looking to do this before Spring but hopefully sooner. How much time does it generally take?

Just another positive post for Carl. He might not be a "mechanic", but his attention to detail is next level. I had my car done at 78k on the ticker for the first time, by Carl. He is meticulous about all aspects of touching your car. Improved idle, and any occasional codes i had have all disappeared.

Doing this as a service to the community is greatly appreciated! Thank you Carl!

I will vouch for cwarren's attention to detail. Great guy to deal with. He did mine way back in April and I never got around to posting pics and sending him a shoutout. Sorry bud. I highly recommend him. I made the trip from Lynnwood Wa and it was well worth it

Thumbs up

Another big prop for Carl ! Not only does he know what he is doing on these cars and has a level of detail that exceeds your expectations, but he is a genuine nice guy and talking about cars with him is so much fun, plus you learn alot from him. I'm not also not gonna step in his 335 anytime soon, otherwise I'll ditch my 328...

How difficult is this diy? I am no mechanic either but can handle the random diy/upgrade. Took me about 4 hours to swap my water pump, hour for factory SSK but 300 bucks sounds like a fair deal.

Think there is a few diy's out there its not terribly difficult but you need a walnut blasting machine and tool in order to do it .Also its a fairly time consuming job too if done right . some guys have used solvents and gun cleaning brushes but i cant imagine doing it that way but to each there own.

Carl!
I just saw this thread and realized who you are. We met at the dyno day. Awesome to put names to faces. Let's schedule this soon, I'm thinking beginning of November. Hopefully this will help with my rough idle I told you about on Facebook.

Crushed it man! Good work, wish I would have seen it. I probably would have if it did in fact go by the number you had.
