Some help please

Hi I have a 2007 335i convertible have purchased some exhaust tips...am wondering if it makes any difference if i get the two back boxes removed and replace with a straight pipe. My mate had a cls and had exhaust tips installed and had the back boxes removed. Can anyone tell me if there is any advantage of doing this or if it is a bad idea?

Exhaust note will be much more agressive. Drone will increase. Some people can't take the drone, some say it is not bad. Search for "muffler delete." As to hp gains, I'm not sure you gain anything significant, but I'm not certain on that.

Yep, it needs some resonator at the end.. and it better not be too small.
