Just bought itg filter and realized its not oiled

Hey guys i just purchased an itg foam drop in filter and realized it has not been oiled nor came with any. Did a little reading and bought no toil oil. Do any of you have any tips on applying the oil on the filter? or any tips in general about the itg filter?. thank you

yah i thought that also. but the instructions say oil it. any one?

oil or no oil it wont make a difference.... Just put it on and enjoy. Just make sure to use the recommended cleaning kit when it needs to be cleaned.

do you have the same filter? the instructions said put oil it will not filter out correctly without.

Lol listen to them, they know what they are saying.

Get the K&N cleaning kit, its like 15$. It helps out a lot.

lol the guy or the instructions bro? and the itg is a foam filter and i heard the k&n cleaning kit will dissolve the foam filter>?

What kind of tips are you looking for? You picked up the right oil. Just spray the top side of the filter. Wipe any overspray off the edges with a rag. Install & enjoy.

Thanks just wanted to make sure you had to oil it. i bought the oil just waiting for it now. Do you have the itg how to do like it ?
