Read My Logs Please!

Hey guys I feel like my car has been running a little bit sluggish at times and sometimes inconsistent. I was wondering if you guys could take a look at my logs... Also what are some key log factors that you guys look at/their values? Thanks

Can you reset your channels and grab another log? You're missing some channels that would help with the picture.

You can look through one of my logs, there's quite a few useful channels.

Ah i see, yeah i don't have nearly as many things logged. maybe the cobb has limitations to how many it can log and mhd can log a lot more things...

Your log does show a lot of timing corrections, pressed for octane.

No.

Just reset it to default and try again.

ah I'm running 93 octane right now, am i at risk for continuing to push the car with this tune? It's just a cobb ots tune. And thanks i'll try to get another log with all the default channels.

Corrections are on multiple cylinders simultaneously some exceeding 5. Yes there is risk of knocking or worse, esp. with ambient temps rising, iats going crazy and not to mention boost targets increasing as well.
There is no gain either since all these corrections reduce power. For safety (and performance) one may consider lowering the boost and/or increasing octane.

What Cobb tune are you on specifically? Even their most aggressive OTS tune is relatively tame...where are you getting gas from?

Either way, you prob want to knock back down to Sport or Drive, if not running one of those maps already, before fetching another log.

Get rid of that Cobb and go with the MHD maps.

Can't tell you how frustrating it was to deal with octane issues (91 ACN) on that thing with their ancient maps.

Okay for some reason when I set the defaults on COBB it's the exact same channels as the ones in the logs above. When i try to add more channels, it basically tells me to remove "X" number of channels before logging. -__-

Have you considered converting to MHD? The OTS tunes that come with it are done by Wedge I believe and quite a bit better than the tunes you're using. Just echoing what's been said above I'd definitely dial back from what you're running.

Once you sell your Cobb it may very well end up being a wash. It's well worth it for the versatility of MHD. You can put down as much power as your heart's content with MHD as long as you have the right tune.
