What ever happened to some of the OG's?

I know some of the banned guys are still involved in the platform.
(335dsleeper, DWR, Iaknown, Whitbread, to name a few). But whatever happened to Tdiwyse? Did he ever sell his car? Did someone on here buy it? Inquiring minds want to know.

I think TDIwyse is active in the FB group, you see him commenting every once in a while, his name is TarasTT

You have TDI_wyse pegged wrong. He definitely is not on the FB group. DieselDemonDM, yozh is a different guy. He still writes over here.

I'm an OG and occasionally come over here still. You see some of my threads in the sticky but a couple good ones didn't make the cut.

I got a note from TDI a few months ago and yes he has sold his 335d. He didn't say to who though. We OG talk in back channels to keep in touch outside of here and FB.

I'd like to be considered one of the OG's. Good to see BB_cuda still on and around. I try to stay active here and check in every now and then. Just like TDI_wyse, I'm not a big FB fan and not on that group.

Thanks but i have to politely not agree. Guys like Hotrod, TDI_wyse, and Ronin were guys that i saw as the leaders when I was a newb.

There was another guy named Snipe too. He lives in Houston as well but converted to MB diesel and has a big Ford diesel truck.

Too bad we lost TDIwyze. He had amazing data and approach to mods. I believe he’s into electrics now. I disagree on the FB comment. There are a lot of people there but the content is not there. Too many people who are just interested in rolling coal, doing street racing or some less interesting mods. Also, the group is highly commercialized with only the vendors who are in the pocket that are promoted and allowed to get away with all kinds of mess. Kinda like here used to be. Money talks. Unfortunately, the advice dispensed also goes along the vendors that pay, so it’s very much one sided. Just my opinion.
