It looks good in my opinion. Though it is a bit out of place with it being the only visible carbon

Well, I do have a spoiler, but that's my thought too if you look at it at the wrong angle. Maybe i need to consider wrapping the skirt splitters, but I was trying to avoid that look.

That's what I was thinking. It's hard to add carbon to a "clean" build without doing every little piece.

Does this happen to anyone else? You wash your car and the day after is the only day in the whole month that it rains??

Of course... I spent 6 hours two weeks ago, washing, sealent etc.
The day after and for 3-4 days it was covered in soot from northern Alberta fires.

Nope, I live in CT. If I wash my car it will rain for the entire MONTH afterward.

new guy here

Let's see, had my '08 328xi for a month, have already:
Changed coil packs
Changed VANOS sensor (and valve cover gasket)
Extracted broken valve cover bolt during VANOS sensor job
Changed injector/engine wiring harness
Swapped stock 16" wheels for 17" staggered style 283's

Going forward projects include:
Source and swap for a DISA intake manifold
Koni/Bilstein struts & shocks
RSFB and M-sport front sway
Headers and exhaust
...& then a little tuning.

Oh no - I enjoy wrenching! Maybe too much? A 3-series BMW is like a German Ford Taurus as far as I'm concerned - there's a blue million of them out in the world, and they're fairly easy to find parts for, so now I expect this car to be an ongoing project. Things will fail from age, and I will replace them (or remove them), and the car will get better and better as the little broken things get corrected. I'm already happier with my car having fixed these few things than I was when I drove it home right after purchasing.

I'm also the kind of person who believes I can manifest my own reality, so if I believe my car is falling apart, then it probably will...

What's the spoiler you have on the rear? Also have blue water and can't decide if I want one or not.

Yup and there are a couple of versions out there: one with a higher kick, one with a wider cut in the middle, one with a deeper cut.

I've also seen the exact same versions in unpainted (and some painted) ABS forms as well. If you're looking for factory painted JBSPEED is a vendor here that has these for a little higher price than ebay, but I could vouch for their quality and color match.

I bought my BMW today

Today I bought my BMW 325i and after doing so I gave it a good cleaning, checked all fluid level, fixed the trunk so that now it will open, and got a new windshield from a mobile service. Still have many repairs to do.
