2AAF - Fuel pump, plausibility
29CD - Misfire Cylinder 1
29D1 - Misfire Cylinder 5
29CC - Misfire, Several Cylinders.

I also have those, except I have them for cylinders 2 and 3. Car drives fine when just driving normal, but forget about giving it any sort of boost.

My car is currently at the dealer.
Ive been having the same issue. Mine ended up being injectors
did u end up replacing all 6???? im gonna start with the plugs if thay doesnt fix it than ill move the two coils aroind. if its not that than its the injectors

I ended up just being able to get away with replacing 3 of them.

The cheapest i found them was at rockauto.com. I ended up paying $282 for 3 of them

Willing to bet its just the plugs. Change them up and go from there. I changed mine the same day I installed my JB4 just so I wouldnt have to deal with any potential hassle.

Yesterday i installed a CXRacing FMIC(the actual full kit for the 335i), a full exhaust (stock downpipes), jb4 and bms intake. Im using the original charge pipe with diverter valves.

The car sounds great and all but it seems like the car is very hesitant to go or to downshift imo, its responsive just slow if that makes any sense. Ive been running map2 with 93 gas and when i floor it the car speeds up but not like before and than the engine malfunction comes up on the idrive, i pull over, no rough idle, restart the car and all is fine, no check engine light. It through the engine malfunction warning on me twice tonight when i tried getting on it just to see if it would throw a check engine light on for me to hook up my laptop.

Earlier today when i did get on it the check engine light popped up with decrease of power, the car started shaking on a lil bit of acceleration, i pulled over, rough idle, shut the car off, restarted and all is fine.

I don't have any check engine lights during regular driving or during regular speed up so there can't be any leaks, right?. When i first installed everything the car did smell a lil funny, almost like burning plastic, maybe oil but not quite, it seems as if its slowly going away though. Sometimes when i turn the car on after like driving it 10 min earlier ill get some white smoke coming from exhaust but i believe its normal blow by, i don't get it while driving or when I'm stopped at a light.

One thing to mention when i was changing the exhaust on the back driver side tip there was like a little pressure sensor i believe with a black vacuum hose hooked up to it, the sensor looked to be welded onto the exhaust. I cut the hose coming the car and didn't do much about it, would this cause any issues???? i can't really raise the car up to check it again till next sat.

please help me out, it such a disappointment to get all this stuff in and than to encounter issues and not be able to use all that power
This hose you cut is to your flapper in your exhaust.

You need to plug it otherwise you will have a vacuum leak so fix that also.

Some people just stuff a golf tee in the orifice to plug it AKA "Golf Tee Mod"

Agree. My car was doing the exact same thing. I changed the plugs and car has never run better.

They're the last piece of the puzzle for me. New OEM plugs/coils did no good.

Still waiting for the dealer to call me back and see what they say. The DIY doesn't look bad at all. I just didn't want to throw parts at it. Thought maybe it could've been the HPFP.

I was chasing the same thing. Swap your injectors around and if the misfire follows, you have your issue

same

I am having a very similar problem, same symptoms but no fuel code, just the misfires. Went to oem mode on the jb4, helped some in just getting it around but i attribute that to less boost. Haven't fixed it yet but noticed for the first time that the lpfp is no longer running when I unlock the car. Not sure if that's related (symptoms don't sound the same) but might check. I don't have a cranking problem, just a limp mode and a lot of shaking once boost gets to a certain point. Going to fix the lphp and plugs first. My 2008 e92 335i has 77k miles and has had 2 sets of injectors and 3 hplp's.
