Willing to bet its just the plugs. Change them up and go from there. I changed mine the same day I installed my JB4 just so I wouldnt have to deal with any potential hassle.

You need to plug it otherwise you will have a vacuum leak so fix that also. Some people just stuff a golf tee in the orifice to plug it AKA "Golf Tee Mod" |

Agree. My car was doing the exact same thing. I changed the plugs and car has never run better.

They're the last piece of the puzzle for me. New OEM plugs/coils did no good.
Still waiting for the dealer to call me back and see what they say. The DIY doesn't look bad at all. I just didn't want to throw parts at it. Thought maybe it could've been the HPFP. |

I was chasing the same thing. Swap your injectors around and if the misfire follows, you have your issue

same
I am having a very similar problem, same symptoms but no fuel code, just the misfires. Went to oem mode on the jb4, helped some in just getting it around but i attribute that to less boost. Haven't fixed it yet but noticed for the first time that the lpfp is no longer running when I unlock the car. Not sure if that's related (symptoms don't sound the same) but might check. I don't have a cranking problem, just a limp mode and a lot of shaking once boost gets to a certain point. Going to fix the lphp and plugs first. My 2008 e92 335i has 77k miles and has had 2 sets of injectors and 3 hplp's.
