Hi guys...
Ive had my 335i for a week now and so far so good. Traded in my A8 v8 tdi for this and while ive lost a few toys, i feel like im driving again Chose this car as I am a bit of a Galant vr4 addict and i wanted similar power delivery (similar turbos I believe). The car is great but doesnt feel as powerful as I thought it would, but I reckon thats down to the ice on the roads and the little chance Ive actually had to try it. |

Just want to say that this site has been excellent in helping me choose my BMW. After months of researching I went for a e90 335d on a 56 plate. Spec is below... 56 plate BMW E90 335D M Sport 18.5k miles (love the fact it has low miles for a 56 plate) 1 previous owner Sparkling Met Grey Black dakota leather Pro sat nav iDrive Heated seats Any some of stuff... Pics will follow soon... Cheers Dee |

Hello,
I just purchase a 2008 335i with all the bells and whistles except I really don't know what options I have. I'll continue to research to further educate. |

Hello all
Hi there
long time lurker on here and have found the site extremely useful- thought it was time to register and say hello! I have a 55 plate E91 325i msport manual sparkling graphite dakota lemon leather panoramic roof full electric seats (who knows how much weight that adds over manual seats!) front pdc extended light package some other guff I can't remember whacked a boot floor plastic moulded mat in which has saved a lot of damage. No S65 under the bonnet... as yet. Next car likely to be a C63 estate or this with an M3 swap and treated to an extended leather interior. So for now, an average guy with a very average 3 series touring like 43% of the rest of the UK! Great to meet you all, and what an excellent resource this place is. Happy new year! Damian |

Hi all
Came accross this site while researching bike racks for my car. I have a 318 SE on a 56 plate, have had it almost a year now and loving it - trust it soooo much more than my last car which I hardly ever drove (needless to say that wasn't a BMW). I've not had a chance to look around here yet but will do over the coming days :-) |

Hi everyone..i am a newbie. Will be picking up my 2nd 3 series BMW this weekend. Had an E93 2 years ago but sold it to Nottingham BMW and bought a Nissan 350Z. Had the 350Z for a year but decided i want something more refined and better built.
I am thinking of replacing the yellow front fog lights on my E92 M sport bumper with Xenon white bulbs. Anyone any idea what bulb type this is? I was told the H8 bulb will not fit a H11 bulb housing and vice versa. Thank you. Mike |

Hi all,
I've been lurking for a while since selling my 5 series and buying an E90 330i in October. I've fitted Mat Black grills and have carbon di-noc'd the ali trim inside. My car was a Sytner demo and has carbon splitters and sport suspension fitted by them. I don't intent to do anything else to it now apart from drive and enjoy... Dave. |

Hi to all being lurking around for awhile and thanks for the info I’ve picked up.
Eventually bought the 330d M Sport auto below, picked her up Christmas Eve as a Christmas present to myself, wife and kids just don’t take the right hints of what I wanted from Santa. Had loads of different makes of cars over the years with the last 4 cars being Merc’s so this my 1st BMW I’ve had in 40 years (can’t believe I’ve been driving that long) so before I retire to my Nissan Micra (no chance), I thought I’d treat myself so once a petrol-head always a petrol-head. Bought the car from a main dealer only, probably paid over the odds, though I liked the alloys and only 20k miles. Has a few toys to play with:- Voice control, Sat Nav, Assist, Bluetooth, Electric memory seats etc plus all the usual toys you get, so I’m still having to get the handbook out every time I go out so I can try and work out how some of the toys work. Love the power and handling, my last Merc felt a bit of a barge compared to this, sound system though is pretty crap so it’s good the engine sounds so unlike a diesel, have to stop playing with the loud pedal though as I keep getting some strange looks at my age lol and its most likely costing me money. Cheers Andy |

Welcome Andy, will have to keep an eye out for you as you're quite local to me.
Is it a manual or gaybox?

Hi Willhollin afraid its a gaybox just got use to the auto's with the Merc's I've had in the past and as most of my day to day driving is in traffic I just find it easier on the legs, well the one leg.
It has got the flappy paddle things so I can still have a play now and then. I’ve notice one or two E92 around here since I bought it, see a white one most mornings on the way to work, also seen another E92 from Dudley on here (Ti Rich). Do you still have yours or have you moved on? Andy |

Yes, we still have ours.
My extensive advertising doesn't seem to have paid off.

My First BMW!
We put a deposit last night on a 2008 (registered Mar 2008) 320d M Sport Saloon Auto in Carbon Black.
It took us ages to find the car we wanted, as we didn't realise that Carbon Black is that lovely bluey midnight black. We have had to compromise with the iDrive, and we've only got the Business version, but we are looking to retrofit/upgrade it to either the latest version, or atleast the Professional/Voice Control version. Has anyone got any experience in doing this and could point me to the correct forum to discuss further? |

New Here
Hi, new here. After owning a few BMW's in the past bought a 07 E91 318d SE 6 months ago. So far I have upgraded the seats to the sport ones, taken the RFTs off and running winter tyres now since I live in Scotland.
