Silverstone 'Arena GP' BMW Trackday - Sept 24th

Silverstone BMW Trackday,
Monday 24th September 2012

Full 'Arena' GP Circuit
Open Pitlane
Full use of the entire Silverstone 'Wing' garages
Free ARDS instruction (three of my guys are ARDS grade S 'super-instructors')
Dedicated novice schooling and tutorials
Friendly club atmosphere
Non member guests welcome
Non BMW's welcome
Trophies and prizes

Free photographs for you to keep courtesy of our official photographer

Full magazine coverage from BMW Car Magazine

£275 - that's the cheapest day there this year by a country mile.. BookEasyGold and all them charge around £400.

I keep the entry numbers low so we all get plenty of time on circuit.

Over 30 years at Silverstone - we have been coming here each Autumn since the 70's!
The daddy of all Club trackdays - This for us is where it all began, out on the grand prix circuit and we are still enjoying it.
We don't share with anyone, we bite the bullet and book the whole place as an exclusive hire, we always have - not a bad achievement for a small one marque members club!
If you only do one trackday this year, do this one - nobody runs a Silverstone trackday like we do!

Regards
Nick

Would there be much on-the-day instructors could offer some tips / improve the driving skills on the day?

As soon as you are ready - The places get sold on a first come first served basis. I have already sold a lot of places - if you email me I'll send you the entry form and details of how to pay

That looks like a fantastic offer for a trackday. If I had a coupe instead of the heavy cab, I'd be there like a shot!

Mega if you don't mind me asking, will you be taking your 335d or the 350z to the track?

350z was sold to fund the 335d mate so I'd struggle to take that along

Cool, it's just that I was possibly looking at a 350z as a possible choice for a cheaper track toy as they are getting down to very cheap prices, rather than chucking my 335i cab round a track as it really isn't suited.

On that thought have you taken your 335d out on track before or will this be your first foray? Would be interesting to hear your thoughts.

Never done a trackday in one of my main cars. I had a 1.6 hatchback as my trackday car for a couple of years. This will be a step up but I'm confident at a well marshalled event with plenty of run off such as Silverstone I've got nothing to worry about

Garage List
335d is fine on track. Needs an LSD but is still a good car. I was catching CSL's and Vantages in my old one.

This event is starting to pick up a good few bookings now.
I will be promoting this day like mad when we are at the Silverstone Classic later this month.. so don't go letting me sell your place to someone else.. if you want to come I need to know.
Both trackdays prior to this one have sold out well ahead of the event and left late bookers disappointed

If you know you want to come - call me now!

Need to get around to booking this! I'm 100% interested but in an ideal world would pay after July 25th Nick. Is that a possibility?

Not wanting to sound rude or anything, but I don't save places for people anymore - The places all get sold on a first come first served basis.
But having said that, it is unlikely that all the places will get sold this month.

I don't know if it is of any help, but we take credit card payments if that is any good for you

Yes I do - plenty of availability at the moment.

The last two years have shown a similar booking pattern - loads of availability up to around 4 or 5 weeks prior to the event, then all of a sudden the flood gates open and get 50 bookings in a week.

If you know you want to come, get it booked asap then you won't be left disappointed
