Smile OpenFlash Tablet: New ROMs Supported

Hi guys,

Big thanks to our international and is/1M customers for being so patient! My eyes are blurry from staring at .bin files for the last 100+hrs but I'm happy to report that we have finally added OpenFlash support for the following new ROMs:

I860S (Australian Market n54)
IF80S (Australian Market n54)
IKBOS (335is/1M)
IKCOS (335is/1M)
ILAOS (335is/1M)

However at this time, the support is limited to providing tuned map files (Stg0 and Stg1). The XDF files will be released after we confirm that everything is running as it should. So for those who have one of these aforementioned ROMS and are currently waiting for a tuned ROM, please email me (shiv@vishnutuning.com) and include your full name and your stock ROM file (as read by the OpenFlash Tablet). In return, I'll email you Stg0 and Stg1 versions of your ROM as well as instructions of what to datalog (basically a few 3rd gear 2000-7000rpm pulls) so I can confirm that all is running perfectly

Cheers
shiv

PS. OpenFlash support for I880S and 1480S (Euro n54) ROMs should come tomorrow.

Backend flash for fueling is already available in the zip file for the map download at procedetuning.com. Noted as ProcedeFlash (Fuel Flash).

Video in this thread on adjusting the procede AFR target values when running the back end "ProcedeFlash":

Yep... I'm working on that one right now. Should have it supported in time for the weekend. Defining all the tables for some of these international (nonUS) roms takes a lot more time than domestic roms. The tables are laid out very differently!

Haven't seen that one before. When was the last time you got your DME updated by the dealership?

Never been back. Never any fuel pump, injector, or any other hardware issues. I see it listed over on the Accessport DB page.

I would highly recommend getting your DME updated by the dealership. BMW has made many improvements during the past several years and the updates are worth having. We can certainly support a tune on that ROM but at the end of the day, you will be tuning very old software. Might also be worth checking to see if you are eligible for any hardware recalls (pumps, injectors, coils, etc,.)

Of course we will support it. Just email it to me Might take a 2-3 days to work out the XDF. But when you get the opportunity, definitely get your DME updated by the dealership.
