I don’t recall, did it like 6 months ago. I want to say a little north of 7 quarts? It’s difficult to get all of it out, of course.

Yes, I bought that exact pre-packaged setup from ECS. Worked out perfectly. Bought the mech sleeve directly from the dealer, it’s not expensive.

0o0ooo0 pictures pls. Really, really interested to see how that works out for you.

No need to disclose the exact price, but in very broad terms how expensive are we talking to have this fabbed up? Expensive? Or EXPENSIVE?

Does pretty well in the real cold winters, yet smooth in the hot summers as well?
Jersey weather is terrible as well.

I just dumped/replaced the pan (4 quarts came out) and will be attempting a full flush in the next couple of weeks. Basically I'll just be disconnecting the factory trans cooler return line and letting it flush ~2 quarts at a time until I see fresh RL D4 fluid come out. The process will be similar to this:
http://www.ipdusa.com/files/product/...STRUCTIONS.PDF

That should get most all of the old fluid out of there.

Last time I put in 4 qrts and it wont take the 5th (started coming out) then started the car and let it run, it took another Qrt and a half engine running ... just curious I'm doing the flush again, when the pan is removed can I start engine to get all the oil out ? Also redline or ZF

By just letting it fly out of the trans with the pan dropped!?! lol No, I would advise against that...see my suggestion 2 posts up.

Amsoil

I use Amsoil. In Michigan winters, it runs very nice. No issues. I got the Beck & Arnley filter for like $100.00 on Amazon.

You can get their 2 gallon jug for around 79.00, if you are a member.

Pats so is it fair to say that when i drop the pan I will only loose about a gallon of fluid and then will have to run and drain to get the rest of it out and add another gallon of d4? I bought 2-1gallon jugs or do i need to buy 2 more?

Yea you’ll need to flush to get more than 4-5 quarts out. I don’t recall the specifics but we were able to add in about 7 fresh quarts of D4. If I were REALLY anal about it, I would have done another flush shortly after to really get all the OE fluid out. But seeing as how 99% of owners never service the fluid, I figured I was already doing the car a nice favor.

With your additional dedicated coolers I’d think you’ll pick up some fluid capacity, no? So your needs could be different.

Yes i do pick up a little about a qrt so i think i will buy 2 additional gallons so a total of four gallons. I'll take it to an indy have them use there machine to completely flush it so i will only have D4 running thru her veins...lol
