other than the dumbo mirrors, I am loving the lci. The front bumper, wheels and tails are just setting it off. Now just for the tunability of the n55...

Why??

Why the Dumbo-ears on new cars? Does anyone know? Old sidemirrors looked a lot better...

Other than that this car is really nice.

Guys please indulge me with what 's obvious to you all but has me guessing, what does LCI stand for? Been lurking for several months learning as much as I could but never came across an "LCI" reference till tonight. Just so happens my car arrived at the dealership today and I'll be taking delivery of it in the next few weeks (with all the snow in NY now I'm in no rush). I ordered it 12/2/10 and saw it today for the first time in the steel (1/28/11). It's an '11 328i, 6MT, M Sport with sunroof and heated seats. AW with Saddle/Black. Thanks for cluing me in.

Haha you've been lurking for several months but couldn't figure out what LCI means..

It stands for Life Cycle Impulse. Basically a facelift.

Buying 2011 335i w/ M sport package

Getting ready to buy a 2011 BMW 3351 w/M sport package w/18"'s, conv package, iPod adapter, and thats all...buying directly from the factory in germany thru military sales program...anyone have any suggestions, cautions, or comments?

Any ideas about things I should replace/modify right away?

Would appreciate any advice!

I did exactly that, bought thru military sales and picked my car up from the BMW Welt in November. I would build in a few days extra in your trip to do some sightseeing in Munich. You definitely want to do the museum and factory tour. If you are picking up a car, the museum and factory tour are free. As far as modding, I haven't done a whole lot. The car is so perfect, there's not much I wanted to mod. I did replace my front grilles with painted ones, and installed painted reflectors. I am also replacing the shifter with the DCT one from a 335is. I did get M-sport, that's a good package (although mostly appearance items) I definitely would get the comfort access option, locking/unlocking/starting without pulling the keys out of your pocket is so worth it. Also the navigation package really is a must. All I have to say is it's an awesome car, and an awesome experience picking it up. Good luck!

LCI or not

Anyone know the starting vin# number for a 2010 335 coupe LCI. 3/10 seem to be a cutoff date

Hey I just got a 2013 328i with the M package and I ordered a grill that says it should fit an E92-3. Turns out that the one i ordered does not fit because its a little small. Does anyone know if the grill size changed for the 2013 328i (coupe) not the F30.
Thanks

Thumbs up

Here's my 328i M-Sport. I really love this car, and look forward to the journey ahead. I recently sold my 2004 E46 sedan, and was always wondering around this site learning very useful information. I finally decided to make an account with the addition of my new car. I've had her for about a month now

Last one is my favorite

Hope you guys enjoy.
