Oops, forgot to undo solenoid bypass for dealer trip

I was bringing my car in for the voice command button not working and to have piece of door trim replaced. Even though it was highly unlikely for them to be screwing around in the engine bay I decided to remove the JB2 from car. Well, I forgot to remove the solenoid bypass. They didn't notice it or say anything about it.
Is there any potential issue or damage by having a solenoid bypass without tune installed? I guess I just need to put JB2 back in now. At least I don't have to mess with those vacuum hoses as they are hard to remove.

Guess I got lucky I wasn't bringing it in for engine issues. I just had both turbos replaced lol.

Figured someone would've commented on my mistake. I guess it's not a big deal. Just put the JB2 back in and go.

Buy a JB3 and forget the bypass for good.

Would love to but I bought the JB2 when they were near $400. So have a hard time convincing the spousal unit I need to drop more on another tune. Sucks that price can buy a JB3 these days.

wasn't there some sort of upgrade program for the JB2 -> JB3? Well on the bright side, at least you didn't buy the original Procede for $2400, and now upgrading to the newer unit costs only $900.

Yep there was an upgrade you can do to reduce the price of the JB3 if you were the original JB2 owner.

I am original owner but there is a 6 month limit on that. Would be nice if I could get trade in value at the current cost of a JB2($99) at least.
