Can I use Alum caps on my TPMS stems?

My son bought me some alum tire stem caps with BMW emblems(not a BMW product) for Xmas. I remember a previous post about not using Alum caps due to them welding or corroding to the valve stems. My son really wants me to put them on. Is their any type of anti seize compound that will help. I also told him that I was reluctant to put them on because kids will steal them. BTW, my son is 25.

That's a nice gift. I don't see a problem. They didn't make them NOT to work or to malfunction. I would say you would be okay, I have never seen any problems with them. OH and aluminum shouldn't rust.

I remember seeing a bunch of thread on this. Here's one of them which is the reason I stayed with my plastic caps.

But alum does corrode. I'm worried about the 2 disimilar metals and H20 being a conductive medium causing electrolysis.
