Ignition Random Cut Out
I have an e92 325i 2008. I was sitting in the car today in a car park with the ignition on (not the engine) listening to the radio when suddenly everything died. After unlatching and reinserting the fob it started without a problem.
Is this a design feature to safeguard against accidently leaving the ignition on, or would it be something more sinister? I wouldn't like to worry it might happen whilst driving. I've had the battery cable problem fixed (re-called) causing everything to die but I can't imagine it would fail under such a small load in any case. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks. |

sure is,,everything will shut down,,its in case you leave everything switched on and drains your battery, you dont have to reinsert the fob,,just push the radio button if you have one..
