Seems like the video may be omitting some fitting steps.
I have factory fitted comfort access, which is passive entry and passive go. My key is never out of my pocket, and I love the system to bits. Wouldn't be without it. |

Is it not easier just to get the proper BMW bits and retro fit?
Only one fob to worry about which you can keep in your pocket at all times. It's great. I guess the advantage of the aftermarket kit is that it is no doubt cheaper than assembling a kit of the proper BMW parts and coding them into the car. |
