Cabin filter housing threads stripped??

Has anyone got any links to new inserts for cabin air filter the holes on mine have been stripped and would like to repair it rather than buying a new scuttle . Thanks martin

Lowe's or Home Depot has an aisle for specialty nut and bolts for plastic molding inserts.

Funny, yesterday was my first tweaking of the car and I replaced the cabin air filter. Noticed one screw was stripping the plastic. And broke one of the clips that hold the filter in...

You can buy brass thread inserts, just google e9x brass thread cowl inserts
