Lets make it visible for rest of us

Wait until some expert comment on this...Meanwhile you can add detail picture because you keep switching back and forth between cables Btw how much did you pay for this adapter?

The THA555 requires to be connected directly to the battery, 12V and ground.
The other connection is very simple: the 8 wires from your OEM HU speaker outs connect to the PnP input port of the THA555, which are signal sensing. Then the THA555 outputs go back to the OEM inputs in the dash using the extension harness of this PnP adapter. Therefore, the only wires that need to be custom connected without adapter connectors are the 12V and the ground. Everything else has a PnP connector ready to use. |

so i tried the yellow cable, after some researching i noticed it went to 12v.
so i connected it to the amp and it worked fine! wich means i also tested out the amp. wich wasnt that big of a deal, since i used my old woofers and old speakers and no tweeters. and i didnt find the sound so much better. when i turned on the low pass it was a little bit more and deep bass, and since the philips woofer pretty much sucks, the sound from the bass was very lame. but i noticed that i could hear low and high much better, and it will improve when i install logic7 tweeters and logic7 midrange in front doors, and in the back i will install ordinary hifi speakers and tweeter ( got them cheap from some guy in sweden) i will also paralell connect two sws-8 4ohm speakers to the amp. this might improve the sound lol. but i must say, the bp tha555 is tooooo easy to connect, hah. and to sum up. yellow cable = 12v red cable = seem to be 12v, but it says "car on" and i didnt try it out, i kinda ran out of time. i will try this next month when i get a little time of from studies and work. well. thats it. will get back with more info, if anybody would like to know! |
