DP Fix for inspection

Ok so with Cobb I just uninstall and then drive for a bit? How do I know when it's ready? Thanks!

I don't uninstall I just drive in with my tune. No reason to uninstall in MA afaik.

Some states do not allow one readiness thingy not ready like we do. They they have to buy a DP Fix so it says it is working. We are lucky we don't have to worry about it. You can make a dp fix for like $10 bucks of parts or pay $60. Either way in MA we are good to go.

I just did that and it failed the OB portion. Any reason why?

OB portion? OBD2 portion? You are allowed to pass if you have one readiness check thingy not ready.

Granted you have an N55 so things might be different but I would be surprised.

What exactly did you fail for? Where did you go?

Oh yeah duh. Well I know I pass with my Bren tune and other's with ptf etc. I believe you do have to turn something off when you get the tune so Wedge should of done that for you I assume they all do it...

Many tunes ignore rear o2 and that keeeps the obd2 from reaching cat readiness, which is why a code or engine light never gets thrown

still in MA, you should be okay if you have 1 not ready, so not sure why you couldn't pass inspection here with a tune

Chiming back into this group...I failed my inspection last week. Jb4, dp but no DP fix. I failed the OBD portion. Even with only one "not ready" check, the machine automatically failed me.

Yes OBD2 and I don't have the sheet with me but all of my emission sensors were not ready to be tested. Which failed me for the inspection. I went to Leominster Service Center, they were pretty relaxed were pretty relaxed and up front with me.

Check the inspection report the station gave you, on the second sheet, there will be the emission monitors that did not pass, what monitor failed, and are you sure it was only 1? Also were there any codes in the system? I'm a licensed inspector & any car that has 1 monitor not ready will pass as long as long as there aren't any present codes

I ran the torque app and got readiness with my dp fix. In ca you have to have everything ready. Smogged and passed.
