Just got off the phone with my CA and he told me they started production on 4/4/07...whooo hooo. Estimated completioin date is 4/16. Counting the days till it arrives home. Anyone have shipping schedule to the west coast??

Ha! I ordered 2 weeks before you and my car will be produced 2 weeks after yours. Gotta love how these production slots work out.

Congrats on getting such a fast order process. I am dying here.

Mine started production on the same day, and is also coming to the west coast - San Diego. (former South Bay here)
I havn't seen a west coast shipping schedule either.

You guys think the waiting for production part was tough... Mine has been on the water since the 1st... Before that it sat at the port of exit for 9 days after production completed.... This part truly sucks. but... getting closer everyday!!!

Believe I am in the Week 16 bucket also. So will keep watching this thread to follow progress. I am based in AZ. Anyone know where they will unload it from the ship for us folks on the wrong side of the country for Europe?

I ordered her on March 8 from BMW of Mountain View. I got lucky because someone who ordered the car decided to drop out. I just took over the allocation and changed all the specs. MY CA, Korrosh, is awesome to work with. Put my deposit over the phone and came in on the next day. When the Montego E93 335i demo car arrived on the 20th of March at the dealership, he called me up and told me to come down and test drive the car. Lets just say with only 13 miles on the car we broke it in. He took the car off of DTC and used the paddle shifters..we were taking the highway off and on ramps at 90mph, drifting through the turn. I kept on saying " Are you serious?" with a big grin on my face. Ever since then, I was hooked on the car and Im very excited that I will be getting this beast before summertime..I hope.. Oh yeah...I would never buy a demo car..hahahaha.

Yup. Western USA cars go through the Panama Canal and end up at Port Hueneme, which is about halfway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, about 50 miles west of LA. They drive the cars off and into the BMW Vehicle Processing Center (VPC). I'm in Phoenix and am a Week 16 production also (supposedly...I'm still hearing "your vehicle is scheduled for production, with no confirmed production date yet" on the 800#)

Wow, you REALLY got lucky. That's about the shortest time from order to production week I have seen on E90Post.com.

Of course, since you used up all your good luck on the order time, who knows what could happen...LOL!!!!

FINALLY! in production, estimated completion date is April 19th! I literally asked the automated woman at BMWNA to repeat the information -- three times!

(Ordered March 24th, but took the production number of someone who ordered earlier and then cancelled).
