Should i go CIC?

My DVD drive on my CCC has died meaning £200 to have it repaired, after looking at some threads where people have upgraded to CIC i am wondering if i should do it instead of repairing my CCC drive.

Looking on ebay there seems to be a few systems knocking around for about £350 however surely there must be something i am missing as i can't believe a full system can be so cheap.

Is that really everything i need to do the conversion and also will i need to have anything coded? and more to the point is it worth upgrading?

Actually ignore me - just realised that the one in the ebay link has a smaller screen and the pukka ones are more like £500-600.

Repair it is!

Yeah the one in the link could be a M-ASK, basically the business nav. That said, he's advertised it as pro, so it *might* be a pro CIC with a business display. Not sure.

Would I need coding doing once fitted?
