Are those brand new pads?

Regardless, I would not be too worried. I have seen that before. The pads and disc may have slightly different taper due to wear. Just drive them for little while and it should all come back to normal. If you want to accelerate the process, go out for a few hot laps at the track .

There is no fancy ass furniture or investment magazines but he did a great job and took good care of my car, he also does it for VWs. PM me if you want his contact.
Interested, will send a pm.

I had to do something similar. I bought the wrong thickness of pad for my BBK system and had to shave down the pad plenty for all four sides.

When I sent them a message on facebook about 2 months ago they confirmed me it was 360$

Is this going to fix my not so smooth idle ?

I think that is more of a question to the folks that would be doing the job for you, no?

Rough idle can be associated with quite a few things I would think ... (valves, if you are running a tune, air filter, injectors, fuel pump, other mods, ...)

I think all of the above could easily cause idle issues. Especially if you had the O2 sensors removed for the downpipes.

Take off the JB4 (or turn it off), consider replacing spark plugs if they are really old, do the easy things first. I don't think a downpipe would cause rough idle, but intake might, maybe the charge pipe - and why, in God's name, do you have a bov? That stuff does nothing on the N54... I'd take it off. Go back to a great stock++ setup, like a decent intake, downpipes, JB4 (or Cobb) and that's it.

Had that on the car when I bought it. Spark Plugs have less than 3000km on them.

yup that's what I figured. I'd suggest getting rid of it. it doesn't do much, if anything, for the N54 anyhow, and you'd start removing potential trouble spots to diagnose your rough idle.

what about coils? any idea how old they are?

have you scanned the car to see if any error codes show up?
