replacing wheels and rims

So I'm not particularly sure how 19'' rims will look on 2010 e90, I currently have 18'' rims and I was hoping some one could help out to understand what are some of the differences that the 19'' rims will do on the e90.

If you go to this thread:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12

there is a calculator that will allow you to put in your current and your prospective tire sizes. It will then calculate the impact it has on the speedometer.

Give that a shot, anything else I'm not too familiar with.

19s are much better. many people will tell you that the ride quality will suffer a bit, but going from 18 to 19 really will not make a difference. I've gone from 17 to 19 before, and it actually felt better because I ditched the run flats.

in any case, there will be no real noticeable difference except for looks. I would do it.

I've always been told 18" is the sweet spot.

19" aren't even an option for me, especially with the crappy SoCal roads.

growing up in Boston I always thought Cali the best roads since no snow/ice to damage the roads...but now that I live here in LA.....I think I agree with you

Only go with 19's if you can afford some high quality wheels. You want some forged, lightweight and very well built. Otherwise, stick with the 18's.
