Hey thanks! I just finally got my N54 135i roadworthy again last week and right away installed the DPFix. I ran two full drive cycles over the weekend, but never got my cats to read "Complete". I had followed the BMS install instructions and previous guidance from #taz2ko0 as carefully as I could. Also I'm only using MHD at the moment and had flashed back to Stage 0. I was beginning to think I had a dud... Great catch regarding checking the MHD OEM/catted DP setting! One of those, "why didn't I think of that" moments. LOL

Appreciate you making mentioning of this and I'll post my results as soon as I have some good news.

Not really. It is mainly precautionary measure. When I have done it I never removed the battery.

I've the original BMS dpfix and when its set to 5oclock, I get 29F4 and 29F5 code. But when set a tinge below 5 (i.e. even 4.8), it throws 2CA8 and 2CA9.

I've done multiple drive cycles each time clearing codes. Cat monitors just dont complete. Its stuck in "Incomplete". I double checked the cables, it looks fine.
What could i be doing wrong?

Have you tired going to pin 20 instead of pin 19 or vice verse. I would try switching to a different post O2 sensors and see what happens.

Do you mean I should try switching yellow wires of pin 19 with pin 20 on the harness? Or the cable that attaches to dpfix?

Tried both. still same code. Maybe dpfix doesnt work with e89. At least I havent seen anyone in forums being able to make it work

It should work unless your post sensors are bad. Check your afr's and make sure that they are not flatlined.

Just getting around to posting my results here. After sorting out the MHD OEM DP setting earlier I finally dialed in (literally) the correct setting for my particular N54. Ultimately I achieved "Catalyst Complete" readiness, and no codes, at the ~3 o'clock position. Bottom line, it works! Thanks once again to @taz2ko0 for cranking these out! I expect I just may keep my 135i for another 10 years now, so may have buy a spare one, lol.
