Window Trim Removal

Hi all

Im finally back in an E92 again i would like to vinyl wrap my chrome window trim in Gloss black, can the trim be removed to do this? or do i have to do it on the car?

Leave the trim on and wrap it. You run the risk of damaging it by removing it.

I just tried vinyl wrapping my side b pillars because on the pre lci e90s the pillars are an ugly matte black that fades. I did it with the pillars still on car and I have concluded that it sucks unless you take it off. I can only imagine how much worse it would be to wrap the smaller window trim with it still on the car.

I've removed the window chrome window trim off e39 doors before and it is possible. You need to remove a lot of stuff out the way and putting everything back together, unless you are very careful, won't align the same way.

do it on the car when wrapping it will make like easier imo
