Couple years ago I sold my E90 to my nephew for a $1. He pretty much left it as is except for powder coating the wheels. Wasn't really a fan but I was happy that he made it his own!

I used to bond with my dad over cars and I happy to have that same connection with my nephew. We spent hours on the phone talking about mods. He was a regular to this forum but only used look at pictures and read diy's

About a month ago I got the worst call of my life. Don't really want to get into the details but his life was cut short.

I took these photos at his memorial. We had the hood wrapped and let everyone sign it. I think he would have hated it, he would have said it was a waste of a good wrap.. lol.

I got a call today and looks like the car is going to be coming back home to me. I'm happy, sad and everything in between.

Thank you all. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but I guess I now have to address all the issues I was hoping his mom was going to fix when he took it. hahaha

I'm sorry for your family's loss. My father passed away a few weeks ago and it's tough losing a loved one. Prayers for your nephew.
