intermittent overheating
so here is my issue.
driving home from Roanoke to va beach car throws the overheating message and goes into limp mode for about 10 seconds then goes away. gauges all read normal, bms app shows gauges also normal temps. car drives normal again for a few more miles. same thing happens, overheating message, car goes into limp mode for about 10 seconds then returns to normal. i stop and check out the engine for any leaks and see none. let the car sit for a bit to cool down and return to the drive. the overheating messages keeps coming and going. only once did the car force me into stopping by staying in limp mode. i let it cool down and again checked for leaks. none. checked the bms app for fault codes and a few different ones would come and go. 2EE0, and one other i cant remember off hand. i managed to get home by driving slower than the speed limit and blasting the heater on high. the weird part is the gauges never showed any signs of overheating. thoughts? |
