Parking Brake Problem with Picture

Car is a 2007 E90 335i Build Sept 2006.

Below is a Picture of my Parking Brake after I removed the Center Console.

Number 1. is the Cable going to the rear Left. this is totally Loose, I can pull it and push it Back in Freely. I only pulled it about a foot....hmmmm.
The Right side cable is good, tight, not much play. (I removed it from the v housing to the hand brake.) I know I got to get under the car to figure it out.

Number 2. is the V Bracket, inside the V Bracket goes the Brake Cables from each wheel. Inside it is a Plastic clip thing, that hold the Cable ends so they do not pop out. Anyone got a part number on it, I could not locate it realoem.

Also, does anyone know how to remove the old plastic piece and install the new one?

Totally lost on this one.
Thank you in advance for all the help.

Ok, just called local dealer, and found part on Realoem.

The v bracket is part of the Parking brake assembly.
1 complete unit.

Now I have to replace it, or use a strong zap strap to get the cable to hold to the V bracket.

Anyone ever have a parking brake cable come off or break on them?
Weird, never had this happen to me before.

I've had it happen on my M3, think it just got wore out, ended up replacing the cables and that fixed it for mine.

Did you need to replace any other hardware or just the cable?
Seems the cable is the same as e90 for all e9x models.
