Unhappy Nitrite on radiator

Does anybody knows what damage the nitrite in coolant can cause to a N52 coolant system?

I'm asking because the previous onwer of the car made a complete flush of the system and filled with a NOAT coolant. I'll be replacing the coolant right away with OEM BMW coolant but I would like to know if I can expect any damage from using a NOAT on a BMW radiator.

No signs of heating or anything I just want to change it because I know BMW recommeds to use a nitrate free coolant.

Thanks

I wouldn't worry too much about it; just change it back to the BMW coolant and it should be fine.
