Cool Procede V5 1-17 Beta FTW.

Never tryed best maps before, i've just definitely downgrade from 3-30 DIC to 1-17 Beta.

Start Boost 14.2psi, IC 50%, at 6500rpm boost is still 13.9psi...

3rd-4th-5th, FMIC is on the way (..cm'on Mike! ):

Simply impressive... I love how these maps keep boost at high rpm. Really amazing.

Bests,
F.

Looks good, so you like 1/17 more than 3/30?

Yes, definitely.
They're so amazing progressive... And keep boost at high rpm!

3-30 are my second choice... They're really good too.

Now try the 3-30 maps with the same user settings (ie, 50% ignition correction). Or run the 1-17 maps at 100% IC as you do with the DIC maps.

I've never tryed 3-30 with IC 50%.

I'll do that.

I've tryed them with 14.5psi IC 100% and works really good... Only some little doubts at low rpm (about 2000-3000) on low throttle.

Yep, i think you'll like the 3-30 maps better if you hold all user adjustables constant. The earlier non-DIC maps were great when you had good fuel and ran low Ignition Correction % settings. But that is not always the case in the real world. And that is what DIC corrects for. Once we enable DIC autotuning, IC% will automatically drop to what your conditions allow for. So you will get all the good stuff and leave no power on the table so to speak.

Can't wait.
PS: I use ONLY 100RON fuel pump (Shell V-Power or Tamoil WR100), I think it's similar to yours 93oct.

Plz, remember to include steering-wheels command center..

We have similar mods, and I'm running 13psi @ 100 IC on 3-30 DIC maps. I think I'm going to try 14psi and 50% next Thanks for posting the graphs.

Shiv, can you do a screen shot of the settings on the 3-30 maps.... I am too much of a newbie to understand the settings right now.

I am using DEFAULT 3-30 map. Did you make any changes manually to those for what you are talking about?

Thanks... and thanks for all the development.

Well.
Curiosity kills me.

Same config (14.2psi, IC 50%) with 3-30, same street, same ALL.

Over 1psi less at 6500rpm... I'm sorry but i'll stay with 1-17... I prefer 3-30 only on mid-ranges.

Bests,
F.

Don't sweat that 1psi reduction at 6500rpm. It makes no difference to power output at that high of an engine speed. The 3-30 maps are better in all respects IMHO.

shift points are usually at 6200 RPM anyway.

More boost is just more heat. Not necessarily more power unless you can take advantage of it octane wise or cool it off.

Well guys, I insure you that i feel better 1-17.
Dunno why, but at high RPM with 3-30 u "feel" that it's time to shift (u can feel the car sitting over 6000rpm), with 1-17 no: I get the rev-limiter two times without any kind of sit, and I really like it.

It's only my opinion.

But.. Hey! No problem anyway. I've owned a jb3 owner with all kinds of maps/gears, R too...

PS: forgot to say... Remember i have not cruise control, so what is REALLY RECCOMENDED (ie. reset adaptions from 12 to 1) isn't playable.
Because of that maybe I feel better with 1-17??

I think its always important to update to the latest maps in case there is also any safety implemented. Just food for thought.

That may be it. If it didn't help, then why would they tell you to do it. Totally makes sense (to me anyway). I never tried the 1-17, but the 3-30 have absolutely blown me away. Can't wait until autotune is BACK!!!

I have to agree with you.

The 1-22 maps are very good indeed.

I loaded them up today based on your post and I can see your point.

But the 3-30 maps are running a little less boost and a bit richer A/F.

I just can't seem to dial in my DIC. , so I prefer the non-dynamic ignition correction of the pre-dic map.

I noticed that with the DIC maps if your timing drops down to zero, the ignition correction backs itself off.

The non-DIC maps keep ignition correction constant.

If my timing takes a dump, I think it would be better to have as much correction as possible?

+1000000000 for a non-DIC Procede firmware with 6AT misfire fix. Being that my 6AT is plagued by the misfire bug, I don't really have a choice but to run the 3-30 DIC which i'm not a big fan of. I know how ignition correction is scaled, nor is it overly difficult to dial in, why mess with something that ain't broke?

Shiv - possible to provide the latest stable version (12/17) with misfire fix? You know how I feel about these maps.

I concur...the 12-17 maps are so much better than this new DIC maps IMO, but with me I have not ever experienced misfires like you and it sucks that you have them...I rather have pink action than DIC!
