MTEC Angel Eyes and Parking Light Malfunction

I installed MTEC Angel eyes on my 2007 e90 this weekend.

They seemed to be working fine until today.

Turned the car on and the car has bulb malfunction warning symbol and the iDrive says the Right and Left parking lights have malfunctioned. I turn the AE on and the warning goes away and the AE work just fine.

Thoughts on how to correct this?

Anyone? Looks like it happens only if I start the car when the light switch is turned to auto.
