I will say this: DTLA is probably not feasible for any group bigger than five or six cars. More likely, I will be looking to one of the local vendors to provide space so that we can get a bunch of people together without getting kicked out/arrested for trespassing/ticketed, etc.

I will, however, be totally willing to set up one-on-one shoots downtown with people. I don't charge for photo shoots, because I have a day job that pays the bills -- y'all can definitely be co-conspirators in my photography hobby/obsession.

i am also in the valley and would enjoy meeting a few new people got out of the meets when i got rid of my e46. subscribed and hopeing for more info soon. Have you thought about mullholland dr.? obviously not 100+ cars, but definitely up to a dozen. Also there is a lot on ventura and laurel canyon that gets emptied out at approx. 8-8.30ish so we can do something there.

I don't have a problem with this. Actually, I welcome it. I am one guy, with one camera -- who doesn't shoot cars very often. More photogs = better.

Okay, I have substantive updates! The folks at **********s have been kind enough to agree to host us on their property on December 8th, a Saturday. I've got one extra photographer (aside from myself) confirmed and a few others interested.

My thinking is that we get out there mid-morning (11-ish), and hang around until the evening (or as long as **********s can accommodate us, and I will be regulating to make sure we don't overstay our welcome).

This will be primarily a social/meetup/drool at mods/photograph session. I'm bringing some heavyweight camera gear, and we're talking over location lighting options too. From my end and any photographers coming WITH ME, photos will be provided to participants free of charge. I'd ask that any other photographers interested in coming should do the community this same courtesy.

I really just want to meet some of y'all, see all the creative and amazing things you've done with your rides, and get some kick-ass photos out of the whole thing. Then, we go for wings and beer! It literally can't go wrong.
