It made 198 with intake and muffler delete. Ok I expect some drivetrain loss..but damnn??
The 255 number from stock is crank hp where as here he's talking about wheel hp.

^^ reread what I said...
I expect some drivetrain loss(crank to wheel horsepower)
But from 255 intake no muffler= 265 right??
265crank to 198wheel...thats way too much drivetrain loss
Maybe the dyno reads low?? Or do 330's usually dyno that?? (first time I come on the na section so Im
Not sure)

Guys my 328 made NO power from intake and muff delete... it just helps the throttle response, doesn't add any actual power until you retune the ECU to work more efficiently. HP = engine efficiency

you must have a strong engine, my 08 328xi only made 188 stock with muffler delete. The PE might have a high flow cat or resinator but that wouldn't equate to a 10whp difference.

^ Muffler delete can reduce hp from what I read. My car does seem to pull strong. I have done the dyno twice to reveal same numbers on a dyno jet.
From the last timem I read it, A PI and PE can yeild about 10 hp combined (mostly from the exhaust).

BTW I believe that is set at Uncorrected with Smoothing set to 5.
When set to STD and smoothing set to 5, it is 195 whp.

Reducing backpressure will affect low end power (low end torque) but will increase peak top end power (dyno numbers)

Ops car is reading really low imo

this is correxct. Without the tuning set to counter act the low end power drop you'll be sluggish under 3k rpms

Has anyone here installed the BMW performance exhaust ? Did you notice a reduction in low down torque (say in 1500-2000 rpm range ) ?

didnt feel a thing, but i have manual, usually i dont stay in that range

since our car has 4 cats, there's enough back pressure to sustain low end torque.

since the additon of the exhaust I do feel that torque at the lower end has reduced.
There are certain stretches of road that I drive daily where the gearbox now changes a gear, whereas before it could maintain the speed on a slight gradient in the highest gear
