It's got a 25 Jewels automatic movement and IMO the build quality is excellent.

Watches have been going up a lot though, I paid £790 for this only 3 years ago from a high street retailer.
I had not heard of them before, but that's a nice watch indeed, not sure about a white face though, I will look at their range

No-one has mentioned Rado. I love the look of some of their watches - what about this?

Loads of colours available and a great way to get a quality swiss movement for reasonable money.

They're an american brand, not stocked in many places but I got mine from Ernest jones

Does the watch have to be new? Watchfinder have some superb tag examples at around this price from the upper end.. Calibre S etc. Rather than just the standard F1 which people tend to look down on due to the price point compares to post other tags (imho)

If I could find the right watch in perfect condition, then I would consider it.
Its just that there doesn't seem to be that much saving. It's not like buying a car where its 40% cheaper after a year or 2.
It seems there is only a 20-30% saving over new price even when the thing is many many years old and showing signs of age.... Nearly new examples seem to be virtually list price.

Feel free to point some out to me, but there is not really any Tags on Watchfinder in the sub £1k price bracket that really gets me interested.

Maybe this 4 year old Link - http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Tag%20H...289/item/17189

If you want an indestructible watch which will look good in 15 years of hard use... Rado...it's just a shame they are so limited in their designs.

I bought an ORIS Diver Automatic with Black face about 8 months ago (£960) and can't fault it. It is a little weighty but well made.
I'm sure someone on here will tell me if it has a good movement or not. It does lose about 60 seconds over a month but I've been told this can be fixed if I want. It needs to be sent back to Switzerland. I will get it sorted when I buy my next watch TAG LINK CHRONOGRAPH or a OMEGA OCEAN PACIFIC not sure which one to buy??

Good luck with your hunt, I spent a couple of months looking.

Merry Xmas

ORIS was on the top of my list when I was looking. Very nice watches at good prices.
