Voice Activation
Does ANYBODY use this feature with repeatable success?
I can't get mine to recognize my voice consistently. Everytime I think I've figured out how it wants commands pronounced it gets it TOTALLY wrong! There's obviously no "learning" (by the car ) going on - and we've got TWO buttons to activate it! |

I have been using it and it has worked fine. Sometimes I guess at what the command might be and it yells at me ("AM on" or "FM on" works, but "CD on" doesn't?), but otherwise, it works great. I like to switch back and forth from the radio to map / direction of travel. I find it easiest to do so via voice.

It works as a charm with mine...even when I was with flu and my voice was not the same :-)
Kind of thinking in re-recording my phone numbers, initially I used to rise the voice too much since I did not realized how sensitive my E90 mic was. Only problem, I was not able to use any other voice commands other than phone though as Entertainment or Climate....I have a non-IDrive

Works for me *as long as* I'm dialing by name (no-idrive here). If I try to voice dial a number it'll usually spaz out toward the end. Every time I've tried, I've had to say the number 4-5 times before being successful. But if I dial by name it works like a champ.
