ok that makes sense based on your power levels. I was around 420whp 460wtq and thats why I didn't have problems with 5.0s from a dig or roll.

high five ! those 5.0s and their high horses. lol

every time someone brings up n54 vs 5.0 it gets crazy. I don't get it. Both cars have more potential than traction will allow at this point so whatever.

Mustang owners are the worst. Although as of lately I've seen the ignorance span from lots of different makes/models.

Here's my experience. My old roommate bought a 5 liter when they first came out. Car went 12.90s @ 110 mph stock(with him driving, and he can't shift his way out of a wet paper bag). Intake, tune, muffler delete he went 12.60's @ 114. It's really not that hard to get a 135/335 to trap 114 and that's really where you need to base your comparo off of. Trap speed always tells the story.

On a similar note, my old roommate went for a ride in my DCI and Dinan stage 2 car last weekend. He immediate response was this felt like his 5.0 when it was stock. I figure my car should trap 108 by my ass dyno as it sits. I won't ever find out because my JB4 G5 is supposed to be delivered today and the test pipes later on next month.

Running against some Terminator Mustangs can be scary...they could have 400hp under the hood or 800+hp. When I had my Mustang gt Procharged P1SC with some other bolt-ons, I went up against unknowing at the time a Whipple Cobra...Needless to say he pulled on me from a 60mph roll like I was standing still.

Terminators are my favorite cars.

they were like the Supras when it came to mods - could easily make 800-900hp on the stock internals.

Whipples and Kenne Bell Cobras will pull your peepee off without even thinking about it....

I kinda like to think of 335's being like supras. Both platforms are FR & i6T... and these cars have yet to hit their limits. I mean the biggest turbo upgrade so far (i believe) is the PTE6262, but the supra guys making big power are running turbos like HTA35r's and GT42's... Also, even w/ 600+ whp, the stock internals AND fueling have yet to be pushed to their limits... So if anything I'd say the N54 is closer to being a modern day supra and still has a long way to go.... But nonetheless, the 2JZ is amazing
