Please any race stories put in this thread. Win or Lose.

1) Describe your car and what modifications that are done to it (Power, weight reduction)

2) Describe the car you raced and what modifications or possible modifications you believe it had

3) Describe the take off, if one car got the jump or if it was an equal start, also please add if any one car had mis shifted during the race

4) Finally talk about how many car lengths you had at different MPH (60, 80, 100, 120)

5) Just let us know if you smoked him or if he smoked you or if it was a good close drivers race

went into limp mode
but i hit the nitrous and WOO
LIMP NEVER FELT SO FAST!

From a dead stop, i raced my friends e46 m3. He's got an afe stage 2 and rouge ssk and a couple suspension mods. I've got v2 only. We took off and by the time i hit ~140 he was 6-7 cars behind me. We turned around and did it again but this time we switched cars. On that same stretch i could only hit 125 in his car. It's funny, i felt like i was doing 200 in his car and 80 in mine. Then we hit up some twisties and he'd get through the turns faster but the instant power in my car, i kept right on his ass. Can't wait for some coilovers and sways. Also, my v2 was just installed that morning and hadn't really adapted, it's much faster and stronger now.

cant wait for the mods to to shut this one down..its somewhere in the rules not to post up street racing crap/

and I for one think its a bunch of bullshit and it dont make you look any manlier that you race people.

I recently raced my friend's e46 m3 in virginia. from 2nd gear start, we were head to head, by the time we hit 100 mph, i was about 1/2 car length ahead of him. he never pulled on me, in fact, i think i was pulling on him slightly the whole time. he has a 6 sp manual with tubi exhaust. im completely stock with auto trans., and had about 1/4 tank of gas on board. it was on random road, and his account of the race may be different, but thats the way i remember it being.
