Struggling with code 4862 - Specified Air Mass does not change

Hi all,

(E90 320d)

So, right on cue before my MOT I have a light on. 4862 Air to EGR mass flow plausibility. What I find weird is with my Autophix reader the air flow is moving up and down with revs but the target (it says "Specified air mass") is fixed at 2000 mg/stroke.

I would expect this 2000 value to also change with the work the car is doing?

I don't think the air mass would ever be 2000 in my car and could therefore never be plausible?

Car drives well, seems great on fuel (says 48mpg).

EGR was replaced some time ago, I wonder if something was not done correctly.

Thanks for your help.
