Went to Gaucho at Tower Bridge tonight.
The food and service was excellent. Really enjoyed it. Tip is to book upstairs at the window. The beer is bloody rotten down here. Had to go to a Scottish bar for real beer. |

Went for lunch at Harvey Nichols in the oxo tower. French menu, great food (must have been good, guy from master chief on the table behind us). But one thing this restaurant will give you over the others is absolutly stunning views of London from the south bank.
Was less than 10mins in a cab from covant garden. One of the better ones I've been too. |

went to Hawksmoor in the end, and very good it is too. will defo be going back.
a great suggestion by those that did, thanks. also, we stayed in a hotel 2mins walk from Holborn tuibe, Lincoln Inn Fields. Its run by Club Quarters who I can only presume are American, as it was quite American, but I got a double room for £100, and its probably the cleanest room Ive stayed in whilst in London, except maybe the Savoy. Was impressed. |
