Would you pay that price for a BMW child seat?
Was surfing flebay and came across this
Just wondering would you really pay that sort of money just for a child seat? And 81 offers for that? Can that be true?

Not in a million years, 1st reason being that a Maxi-cosi will do a better job for a few £££'s less.
2nd reason is that it would be for my toddler so would rather go for safety over 'bling'

+100!!! My last car seat cost £100 and was 10 times safer with adjustable width so my son was always well fitted in it!

Does it tell us something about the seller? Like others said, safety > anything else. Never tried BMW child seat and not sure how good are they ?

As similar Baby/Child seats are available direct from BMW, with a 2 years warranty for about £200 I think he's living in cloud cuckoo land

Would prefer funtion and ultimately safety over form, especially when those garish colours hardly match the black interior of my car.
If he can get that price and some fruitcake is prepared to pay that, good luck to him. But IMO he's living in cloud cuckoo land and its "rare" for a reason... it's shite! |

My kid can take her chances standing in the passenger seat, holding onto the dash and cheering me on!
Good enough for me, good enough for a lot of us, and we're still here. Seriously though, NO comes to mind on that seat, as well as a WTF? I guess if you are REALLY into BMW stuff, as they don't these anymore? Price is nutty. After looking a little closer, the dude might honestly be a bit mental. Lots of garbage, small stuff that belongs in the bin or junk yard being offered for sale at high prices.
