black CH-R BBS

My car is due at the dealer in less than 2 weeks. Since I ordered the car with the ugly ass 18'' wheels; what do you all think of 19' black BBS CH-R's on jerez black? Thinking of doing them asap upon arrival

Too heavy, 335 and M3 deserve forged rims, maybe BBS RGRs or Advan RZ-DF

Are the roads you drive on good enough for 19" wheels?

yes and no. I live outside of NYC. Roads can be very unforgiving, but you just need to be careful.

I have the BBS CHs in black. They are heavy but no difference in daily driving. You tracking your car?

In M3 fitment, RZ-DFs are 10lbs. lighter per wheel. That is a HUGE difference that you would feel in everyday driving.

Forged wheels are a lot more expensive.

If you are on a budget the BMW M3 Comp wheels are nice @ $400 per (Tischer).

First off, the BBS CH-Rs will look amazing on your JB BMW! Also, the BBS CH-Rs are Flow Formed Cast wheels so they're definitely much more affordable than their Die Forged wheels.

Here's a few of my customers' cars (they're on Porsches) - they LOVE these wheels!

Im loving the BBS's. I do in fact need light weight wheels. Someone said the CH-R's are too heavy. Whats a similar wheel that weighs less for the same price

ADVAN RZ-DFs are light - they're in the 18 to 21 lbs ranges for the 19" fitments. Why the need for such lightweight wheels? Are you tracking the vehicle?

BBS makes great wheels -- the FI is my dream. BBS has models designed specifically for BMWs and are top quality. Yoko Advan forged and Rays Volk also are excellent. Unsprung weight is always important, whether for the track or DD.

Enrita always seems to get the good $heet. Lucky! Italian in Sweden.... Fox in henhouse?

The BBS CH-R utilizes flow form method of wheel manufacturing and is still considered lightweight compared to most other wheels. You can check out the weight of of the wheels below.

BBS CH-R:

Non-M Size/Offset/Weight
19 x 8.5 ET32 24.8 lbs
19 x 9.5 ET35 24.6 lbs

///M Size/Offset/Weight
19 x 9.0 ET20 25.2 lbs
19 x 10.5 ET25 26.8 lbs

The CH-R definitely looks great in Black and will go perfectly with your 2011 BMW M3. Unfortunately, the BBS CH-R is not made in 18" and is only available in 19" fitments. The set up that would work perfectly with the M3 is the 19x9 ET20 in the front and 19x10.5 ET25 in the rear. Here's a few pics of this setup for you to check out as well.

Not sure exactly what you mean by DD, can you be more specific? I'm guessing your saying daily driving . I'll shoot you over a PM with more details.
