Im not going to write a big review at this point because its not completed and also because its not my place yet. However... The only way to describe the car even in raw form at this point is "Brilliant!"

The V Brace is complete and the car can now drive without worry. However it has not yet been tuned. Even on low boost, and with still zero tuning other than the stock base PROcede tune.... LOL.... The car Rocks SOO Hards its more than thriling. 12 PSI 3rd gear, 30% throttle... Tires spinning. Boost with the 62 turbo IS instant, No Lag, in fact I know i have not drove my car in quite a while but I would say there is no difference in boost response. Other than the fact than its fast as fuck.

Also i would like to note that the car does not just feel like a 335i with a large single. It feels completely different. as if it has a small V8 in there. The power band from what i can "Feel" is nearly 100% of the RPM range. It just feels strong the whole way. I would assume this is due to all the unnecessary old hardware "Piping" being removed and the fact that the engine is free to spool since there is zero intake restriction.

thats probably the most i can say at this point.

So to sum the car in two words... HELL YES!
Great! Been waiting forever to hear this!!

Now I will be patiently waiting for the dyno!...

Thanks everyone and thanks Eric for stopping by and driving the beast. If I wasn't so busy I would have stuck a go pro in the car to capture the excitement. We will be putting it back on the dyno in a couple days and we'll turn on the web-cam for everyone to watch. I'll report back with dyno numbers shortly. We run journal bearing turbos in most of our turbo kits. We also run dual ball-bearing turbos as well. There is a small difference in spool between the two but in this case it will be barely noticeable as the 6265 spools almost instantaneously. The beauty of this turbo kit and the Precision T4 turbo lineup is that this kit supports all of their T4 turbos from a 62 to a 76mm.

Post some logs when you get a chance, I'd love to see some actual spool comparisons.

Good job guys.

Good job guys.
We dynoed his car before the single turbo so we will lay them on top for comparison.

Thanks. We are excited to show some dyno results. We are putting our twin turbo RHD M3 on the dyno right now (new stage 2 methanol system) for our Euro / Austrailia and South American customers. Once that car is off we will work on the single turbo 335i tune on the dyno.

Question Chris. Are you guys going to be shipping this kit or only in house for a while?

That your turbo is ball bearing seems contradictory to what Chris has been saying.

I'm not trying to attack you. Just curious for clarification.

First, great work HPF! I have been a huge fan since the introduction of yoru E46 M kits. I actually almost went that way VS the 335...

Has there been any price point set yet? I am getting close to going with a turbo upgrade but want to be sure I know all of my options VS gains VS $$$.

Thanks,
