Noob Question Angel Eyes

2008 335xi E90.

I have no clue about Angel eyes. I have the bi-xenon lights already but would like to get rid of the orange circles. What kit or bulb should I get? If you could just tell me exactly what to get that would be great. Thanks everyone.

I got the MTEC v2s from E92Lighting here on the forum.

Depends on whether your car is early enough in 2008 to get the pre-LCI lights, or the LCI lights - cutoff is roughly end of 2/08 for the earlier lights I believe.

BMW E90 3-Series (2005 ~ 2008 Models, Before Facelift) with xenons only, halogen projectors will need H7 bulbs instead for low and high beam

Go with an LED replacement to change the color. There are lots of options out there, we carry WeissLicht and have had great feedback.

Thanks Everyone for the input, made things a lot easier. Yeah I have a pre facelift e90. I think I am going to go with either the MtechV2 or the Weisslicht. I am not sure yet but when I do I will make sure to post pics.

Also are the MtechV2 or Weisslicht easy to install? I am a bmw technician but we have a guy that does all of our electronics. So I basically have no idea how to do anything cosmetic with the lights. Is there a good DIY out for either of them?

I originally installed the Zenyo angel eye LEDs - they are cheap but I've got to hand it to them, the bulbs came with all necessary tools: 2 sockets and handle, a torx screwdriver, and a mini instructional CD.

I looked on the web and couldn't find their video but it is pretty easy; the hardest time I had was getting the plastic cups (that cover the bulbs) off.

They are not technically difficult, the hardest part is unbolting the fender liner so you get access to the back of the headlight. If you are a BMW tech, you will be fine. We have two installation guides and given your background, you'll have no problems.
