Exclamation CAS no ELV Update

Morning,

I was wondering if anyone could help me figuring out which version I need to update the CAS to*remove the ELV. I updated the CAS from 6943791 to 9147224 using WinKFP but still having the same issue, however the lock/unlock the steering wheel works a treat, the only issue is the yellow steering lock pops-up every time I insert the key in after 2 hours sleep, even though the steering wheel is already unlocked. I believe the version of CAS I updated it's not the version without ELV, please correct me if I'm wrong. Someone suggested to update the SZL as well but my car doesn't have any SZL module, it's a E90 2006.

Thank you so much.

You might have to find a car that doesn't have it and
read what it is .
I think this software matches what program is possible for
your hardware and doesn't allow anything else.
Might mean you have to hack the build date to make someting
newer go in if possible.
There is always the ELV emulator.
I think it's cheaper than it used to be.

Yes I know about emulator but some other people managed to do it just doing a CAS update and was wondering if anyone from here did it and how they've done it but looks like no one else replies

Thanks a lot for your input

Yes there is, others say to do a CAS update as there's a software corruption between the SCM and CAS module or between SZL and CAS module and apparently the software update fixes it. The thing is, my one is working fine but I put the key in the ignition then remove it, lock the car for 5 mins, return back open the door and you hear a click around the steering wheel, put the key back in ignition and it's working fine but doesn't work the first time round, just found a way around it for now which makes me even more to believe there's a software issue.

Our 2006 330I do have SZL. Go into NCS Expert and in CAS or ABG cant remember there is an option to disable the ELV. It is there. I attached my current ZB for my 2006 330i also
