O2 UK ripping off

Hi guys, so we have from thursday an EU legislative thats brings an end to roaming charges.
Very pleased about finally able to call my family in Slovakia using my minutes and texts.
Only to get pissed off when looking into my O2 account. Nearly £40 for making phone calls and sending texts. So what the feck is this end of roaming??!!! I called O2 to explain me the text I received from them that said there will be no more roaming charges. They said they I can use my minutes only when abroad !!
WTF???
So if I call from France to home I dont get charged and of I call from UK I get charged???
They offered me £10 off the international bill, so I quickly told them to FO!!
Im not going to pay the fokin bill as I was misled by them!!
Im sure Im not alone who will face a huge bill.

And you know what? My brother in Slovakia has O2. He doesnt get charged a penny for calling me! Coz they have end of roaming charged!
This country is Fokin RIP OFF!!!

What are your views guys? What shall I do? Im thinking to write to BBC watchdog..

I thought the same when I got the text from EE, it's a strict interpretation of 'roaming', if you're still in the country of origin you're not roaming! It's harsh, but I'm guessing they're totally within the letter of the law.

I'd have thought it obvious that roaming calls for a uk registered phone means calls made outside the UK.
Here's a thought get a Slovakian registered phone & use that

100% correct! You are not roaming if you're in the UK on a UK contract.
