Yesterday (Sunday) early morning took my car for a drive down A22 to visit a friend. Only a few cars about, so easy for me to overtake them, and god it felt good to go round those bends at the speed I want to go at. Hadn't done that since last Summer. Felt so goood. Anyways, on the way back, going around a roundabout and there is a convertible BMW in front of me with an M4 badge on it. I see him going for the same exit as me so right away I'm thinking he's gonna floor it to get away from me and decide to do the same just to see how much faster than me an M4 is. It looks like he is giving it the beans but to my surprise I'm keeping up. So I look down at his exhaust and (wait for it)... there is only one exhaust on the left side...

Dude, if you are reading this... get that badge off your car

I must be getting old, I get my kicks by telling people that I got 71 mpg.

I struggle to get 50 mpg out of it when on a motorway. In perfect test conditions where I don't have to slow down or go up hill the max I can manage is 60 mpg.
